Thanksgiving is such a wonderful time of year for families to get together and give thanks for the good times and blessings they have been afforded.

My parents are now gone and what is left is memories of wonderful Thanksgivings of the past. Those memories remain in my heart.

My children are scattered so that means I will not always be able to be with them on the "special" days of the year. They are always with me..

We have so many things to be thankful for that we take for granted every day.Take a few minutes and just think about that......
The car that gets you to work and to the grocery and the doctor.

The clothes that hang in your closet...
even though we all get up and say
"I have nothing to wear today"....
we do.

The food that you have in your pantry means....
You are not hungry.

The phone that buggs you....
means you have a way to reach you loved ones.

The pile of paperwork on your desk....
means you have a job.

Little things that are really not so little when you put them into perspective.

Stop.....and be thankful...
not just on Thanksgiving but...
every day of your life.

As For Me????

I thank God for giving me two parents that instilled morals and values that have never left me.

I thank God for three beautiful children and for those 5 grandsons that are normal, healthy happy children.

I thank God for my husband,Mike. He is my "rock". Thru good times and bad times he has stood with me,and together we have prevailed.

I thank God for my Aunt"Nett".She has been there for me as friend and confidant. She was very close to my mother. She has been such a comfort to me since we lost "Mama".

I thank God for allowing me to be with my dad on the Father's Day before we lost him in July of 2000.

I thank God for my humble little home in the hills of Tennessee.

I thank HIM for my job. Most of the people that I deal with in my work do not have jobs.

And......I thank HIM for allowing me to meet all of you.You are a blessing!

I thank God for all things..big and small.

SO...... from our little Tennessee Corner to your little corner of the world........
